As an organisational leader your colleagues will come to know you well. A key challenge is to stay one step ahead of them in terms of your own self-awareness and leadership development.
Strategy3 has devised an intensive leadership development program for senior managers, and aspiring CEOs to be held in May 2017 in Timor Leste.
The program explores how leaders develop the attributes that enhance organisational performance. It introduces the concepts of the Leadership Development Framework. The four-day program facilitated by Ben Bardon, is conducted as a walking tour through the highlands of Timor Leste.
As an action learning project you will review the operation of a voluntary carbon offset project in the Laclubar district and use your insights to reflect on your own leadership practice.
The formal themes we will explore include:
• Concepts of leadership
• Making sense of complexity
• Adjusting leadership behaviour
• Global perspectives
You will also have an opportunity to talk through your complex business issues in confidence with the other participants .
The program is designed for a small group of three or four participants and it requires moderate fitness (the ability to walk for 1 hour including up steep hills). Participants are provided with pre-reading and a questionnaire about the issues they would like to address.
You will transported by four-wheel drive to the highland communities and stay in modern motel style accommodation that has recently been built in Laclubar.
There is a short application process for this program to understand the compatibility and cohesiveness of the study tour team. For an application form email Ben at bbardon@strategy3.com.au
The cost for the four day program including, in country transport, food and accommodation is $1,550.
Applications for the May 2017 program close on April 20th 2017.
